4-Inch Upper Exhaust Bellows (2-Pack) for MerCruiser Stern Drive Applications
This package provides two identical 4-inch upper exhaust bellows (exhaust boots) that replace MerCruiser 32-44348T. They are intended for MerCruiser 120 and 140 stern drive engines, as well as select MerCruiser V-6 and V-8 stern drive engines configured with a 4-inch center-mounted riser-to-4-inch elbow connection.
Each boot is built for the upper exhaust tube position, featuring a 4-inch (102 mm) inside diameter and a 4.25-inch (108 mm) length rather than a lower exhaust tube configuration.

Because a V-6 or V-8 engine designation alone is not sufficient to identify the correct boot, verify the upper mounting location, 4-inch inside diameter, 4.25-inch length, and replacement part number against your existing exhaust assembly.

Not Suitable For

- Shut down the engine, disconnect the battery or disable the ignition to prevent accidental starting, and allow the exhaust system to cool completely before servicing.
- Compare the replacement boots with the existing upper exhaust tubes to confirm the 4-inch (102 mm) inside diameter, 4.25-inch (108 mm) length, and upper riser-to-elbow position.
- Clean the mating exhaust riser and elbow necks before fitting the boots, taking care not to gouge or distort the sealing surfaces.
- After completing installation according to your engine service manual, inspect the exhaust joints during initial operation and shut the engine down immediately for inspection if any exhaust or water leakage is observed.

Can these boots be used in the lower exhaust tube position?
No. Although both upper and lower components may be referred to as 4-inch exhaust boots, this item is the 4.25-inch long upper exhaust boot version replacing MerCruiser 32-44348T and is not for the lower exhaust tube location.
Does every MerCruiser V-6 or V-8 engine take this 4-inch upper boot?
