Manifold & Elbow Gasket Kit for MerCruiser V6 and V8 Exhaust Systems

This aftermarket exhaust gasket set contains two exhaust manifold gaskets (reference 27-33395) and two exhaust elbow-joint gaskets (reference 27-41813) for servicing compatible MerCruiser 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 6.2L, 7.4L, and 8.2L (including 350 MAG, 454 MAG, and 502 MAG) stern drive and inboard exhaust assemblies. This product is a gasket set only, not an exhaust manifold or elbow assembly.

Engine Applications

Intended for the MerCruiser V6 and V8 engine applications listed below when both the manifold-to-head gasket (27-33395) and elbow-joint gasket (27-41813) match your installed exhaust components. Do not select the complete set from engine displacement alone; check both references separately and verify whether your elbow joint requires a restrictor-type gasket rather than an open or block-off version.

Service & Installation Notes

1. Ensure the engine is completely cool, shut off the ignition, and disconnect the battery to prevent accidental starting before servicing exhaust components.
2. Support heavy exhaust manifolds and elbows securely during removal and reassembly to avoid personal injury or damage to mounting threads and mating surfaces.
3. Clean all cylinder head, manifold, and elbow mating surfaces thoroughly to remove old gasket material, carbon, or corrosion while protecting the sealing surfaces from gouges.
4. Compare the new manifold gaskets (27-33395) and elbow gaskets (27-41813) directly against the removed parts and the port layout of the castings, paying close attention to the elbow-joint passage configuration.
5. Tighten fasteners according to the sequence and torque specifications in your OEM engine service manual. After starting the engine, inspect all joints closely and shut down immediately if any exhaust or water leakage is detected.
