Engine Applications
This full-flow gasket is used on the MerCruiser GM V6 and V8 manifold, elbow, and spacer applications below. Verify your engine serial-number range, joint style, and water-passage layout against the existing exhaust hardware; for 0M-and-up small-block engines, confirm that the Dry Joint “Alternative” wet-joint replacement system is installed.
- MerCruiser Model 175–205 (V6, GM 229 / 262 CID) — Years: 1983 through 0M serial numbers. Joint configuration: Wet Joint. Flow configuration: Full Flow (open). Position: Exhaust manifold, elbow, and spacer connection. Fits when specified
- MerCruiser Model 200–320 (V8 Small Block, GM 305 / 350 / 377 CID) — Years: 1983 through 0M serial numbers. Joint configuration: Wet Joint. Flow configuration: Full Flow (open). Position: Exhaust manifold, elbow, and spacer connection. Fits when specified
- MerCruiser Model 330–370 (V8 Big Block, GM 454 / 502 CID) — Years: 1981 & up. Joint configuration: Wet Joint. Flow configuration: Full Flow (open). Position: Exhaust manifold, elbow, and spacer connection. Fits when specified
- MerCruiser GM V6 / V8 Small Block — Dry Joint “Alternative” System — Serial range: 0M serial numbers & up. Joint configuration: Dry Joint “Alternative” wet-joint replacement system only. Flow configuration: Full Flow (open). Position: Exhaust manifold and spacer connection. Fits when specified
Application Check Required

Service & Installation Notes
General service guidance only. Use the service manual for your exact engine and exhaust configuration.
- Shut down the engine, disconnect the battery to prevent accidental cranking, and allow the exhaust manifolds, elbows, and spacers to cool completely before disassembly.
- Support heavy exhaust elbows and spacers during removal so hardware and cast mating surfaces are not strained or damaged.
- Clean old gasket material from the manifold, spacer, and elbow sealing faces, and inspect the surfaces for corrosion, pitting, or warpage without gouging the metal.
- Compare the new full-flow gasket ports directly against the removed gasket and the mating water passages. Do not substitute a full-flow (open) gasket in a joint that requires a restrictor or block-off gasket.
- Reassemble and tighten fasteners according to the sequence and specifications in your engine service manual. After installation, inspect the exhaust and cooling joint for exhaust or water leaks under normal water supply; shut down immediately and inspect if any leakage or abnormal temperature occurs.
The Serdamarine Approach
Exhaust parts need a configuration match. Serdamarine focuses on marine exhaust manifolds and their related service parts. Application details, connection requirements and public reference numbers are presented together to support part selection.
Questions Before Replacement
How does this gasket differ from GLM 30240 and GLM 30220?
This gasket corresponds to GLM 32080 (and MerCruiser 27-863726), which is the full-flow (open) center-riser gasket. GLM 30240 is the restricted water-passage version and GLM 30220 is the closed (block-off) version. Even when listed for the same GM V6 or V8 engine family, the three versions serve different cooling passage positions and cannot be used in place of one another.
Does this gasket fit factory MerCruiser Dry-Joint manifolds?
No. This is a wet-joint style gasket. For 0M-and-up GM V6 and V8 small-block engines, it only applies when the engine has been fitted with the Dry Joint “Alternative” wet-joint replacement exhaust system.
