Engine Applications
Associated with Mercury MerCruiser Stern / Out Drive dry-joint exhaust elbow applications. Individual gasket usage does not establish fitment of the complete combination at a single joint; verify the exact passage style (Full Flow / Open, Restrictor / Restricted, or Block Off / Closed) specified for your engine serial number, manifold, riser, and cooling system before installation.
- Mercury MerCruiser (Stern / Out Drive) — Dry-joint exhaust elbow applications. Referenced gasket versions include Full Flow / Open, Restrictor / Restricted, and Block Off / Closed; match the installed gasket version to the manifold, riser, and cooling arrangement. Fits when specified

Service & Installation Notes
General service guidance only. Use the service manual for your exact engine and exhaust configuration.
- Ensure the engine is completely shut down and cool, and disconnect the battery to prevent accidental starting during exhaust service.
- Support heavy exhaust elbows and risers securely during removal and installation, and protect the machined dry-joint sealing surfaces from scratches or gouges.
- Identify the exact gasket version required by your manifold, riser, and cooling arrangement (Full Flow / Open, Restrictor / Restricted, or Block Off / Closed). Do not substitute a Full Flow gasket where a Restrictor or Block Off gasket is specified.
- Clean and inspect mating surfaces thoroughly, align the cooling and exhaust passages as specified in the factory service manual, and shut down the engine immediately to inspect if any abnormal temperature or leak occurs during initial operation.
The Serdamarine Approach
Exhaust parts need a configuration match. Serdamarine focuses on marine exhaust manifolds and their related service parts. Application details, connection requirements and public reference numbers are presented together to support part selection.
Questions Before Replacement
How do the three gasket versions in this combination differ?
The combination references three dry-joint exhaust elbow gasket styles: Full Flow / Open, Restrictor / Restricted, and Block Off / Closed. Each version controls water passage flow differently between the manifold and elbow/riser. Only the specific version required by your manifold, riser, and cooling arrangement should be installed at a given joint.
