Lower Exhaust Bellows, 4-Inch (2-Pack)

This is a two-pack of matching 4-inch lower exhaust bellows (exhaust boots) for MerCruiser V-6 and V-8 sterndrive applications configured with a 4-inch elbow-to-4-inch Y-pipe lower exhaust connection.

Each bellows serves as an aftermarket replacement for MerCruiser 32-14358T in the lower tube position. Upper exhaust tubes and 3-inch lower exhaust tubes are separate versions and do not interchange with this 4-inch lower arrangement.

Engine Applications

Designed for MerCruiser V-6 and V-8 sterndrive exhaust systems that specifically use the 4-inch lower exhaust tube between a 4-inch elbow and a 4-inch Y-pipe. Match your existing lower tube diameter, installation position, and part number rather than selecting by V-6 or V-8 engine family alone.

• MerCruiser Sterndrive V-6 and V-8 Applications — Lower exhaust position only. Requires a matching 4-inch elbow-to-4-inch Y-pipe arrangement using the 32-14358T 4-inch lower tube configuration. Fits when specified

Not Suitable For

• Upper Exhaust Tube Positions — This is the lower-tube version; do not use an upper exhaust-tube listing as the replacement reference. Not suitable
• 3-Inch Lower Exhaust Tube Arrangements — Separate version from the 4-inch lower exhaust connection. Not suitable

Service & Installation Notes

General service guidance only. Use the service manual for your exact engine and exhaust configuration.

1. Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool completely, shut off battery power, and take precautions to prevent accidental engine starting before servicing exhaust components.
2. Verify that the vessel is secured Against water intrusion through the exhaust Y-pipe if servicing with the boat in the water; follow the OEM service manual procedures for safe removal of lower exhaust connections.
3. Compare the new 4-inch lower exhaust bellows directly against the removed components to verify matching diameter, length, and lower mounting position between the 4-inch elbow and 4-inch Y-pipe.
4. Clean the mating surfaces on the exhaust elbow and Y-pipe, checking for corrosion, pitting, or distortion that could affect clamping and sealing.
5. Seat the bellows fully onto both mating necks and secure according to your engine service manual specifications. After installation, inspect for exhaust or water leaks during initial operation and stop the engine immediately if any abnormality occurs.
