Service & Installation Notes

- Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool completely, shut off the battery or ignition to prevent accidental starting, and prevent water entry through the exhaust passage if the vessel is afloat.
- Separate the upper (32-44348T reference) and lower (32-14358T reference) 4-inch exhaust bellows before installation so each component is fitted to its designated position on the exhaust path.
- Inspect the exhaust Y-pipe seating area and verify that the 807166A3 water shutters orient and pivot freely to act as check valves against reverse water flow toward the engine.
- Clean all mating surfaces before fitting the bellows and securing clamps according to your engine service manual. After reassembly, inspect the exhaust connections during initial operation and stop the engine immediately if exhaust or water leaks occur.
