Service & Installation Notes

1. Ensure the engine is completely cool, shut off the power supply to prevent accidental starting, and support heavy exhaust components before disassembly.
2. Clean and inspect all mating surfaces on the cylinder head, exhaust manifold, exhaust elbow, and carburetor mounting flange, taking care to protect the sealing faces from gouges or debris.
3. Compare the supplied manifold gasket (3853256), elbow gaskets (3850495), carburetor mounting gasket (3853283), and drain plugs with O-rings against the removed parts to verify port alignment and thread match.
4. Install the gaskets and drain plugs according to the sequence and torque specifications in the engine manufacturer's service manual.
5. After reassembly, inspect all joints and drain plugs during initial operation; if any exhaust or fluid leak occurs, stop the engine immediately and inspect the assembly.
