Stainless Steel Exhaust Elbow for Yanmar 2YM, 3YM and 3GM Marine Inboard Engines

This aftermarket stainless steel exhaust elbow (reference Yanmar 128890-13530) is designed for Yanmar 2YM15, 3YM20, 3YM30, 3GM30 and 3GM30F marine inboard engines. It features a 4-bolt flange, an 11/16" (17mm) water inlet and a 2" (50mm) exhaust outlet, and is supplied as an individual elbow rather than a service kit.

Service & Installation Notes

General service guidance only. Use the service manual for your exact engine and exhaust configuration.

1. Allow the engine and exhaust system to cool completely, shut off the cooling water supply where applicable, and disconnect the battery or starter circuit to prevent accidental cranking.
2. Support the exhaust hose and elbow during removal, and clean the 4-bolt mating flange surface carefully without gouging the sealing face.
3. Compare the new elbow's 4-bolt flange pattern, 11/16" (17mm) water inlet and 2" (50mm) exhaust outlet with the removed component before installation.
4. Install the elbow and connect the water inlet and exhaust outlet hoses according to the engine manufacturer's service manual procedures.
5. After restoring cooling water flow and starting the engine, inspect the flange joint, water inlet connection and exhaust hose connection for water or exhaust leaks. Shut down the engine immediately and inspect if any leakage or abnormal temperature is observed.
